Glenormiston College specialises in agriculture (beef, sheep and wool, dairy), agronomy, equine, racing and horticulture studies (amenities, production and arboculture). Nationally accredited courses are offered full-time, part-time, off campus, school based and by flexible delivery. We also deliver a wide range of industry specific traineeships and short courses.
Our Advanced Diploma of Horse Management, Certificate IV in Stud and Stable Supervision, Diploma of Agriculture , Diploma of Agronomy and Diploma of Horticulture courses are highly regarded in industry, with strong employment prospects for graduating students.
The College provides a unique lifestyle for students while studying, with first class amenities and training facilities, with accommodation for up to 120 students.

About Glenormiston College
Glenormiston College sits on 281 hectares of prime agricultural land, 11 km north of Terang in south-west Victoria. The economy of this region is heavily supported by agricultural businesses specialising in dairy, sheep and beef production. Horse racing, eventing and show jumping are also well supported.
Glenormiston College specialises in farm management for dairy, sheep and beef production. It leases its own commercial dairy farm. In addition to its role as a teaching facility, the property provides financial dividends to support campus operations. It has a herd of approximately 170 cattle, most of which are Friesians. The farm rears about 75 heifer calves each year.
Glenormiston provides excellent facilities and resources for training and research in Agronomy. A fully equipped research laboratory for dry matter measurements and other pasture measurements is available with research taken out nationally and in New Zealand
Glenormiston College History
Upon visiting Glenormiston College you will find yourself immersed in acres of gardens containing national heritage listed trees. The main entrance to the campus is lined with elms that provide a tunnel of shade in spring and summer and a golden path in autumn.
The bluestone and white stucco mansion (circa 1855) stands in a park of native and exotic plantings, featuring mature specimen trees such as an original gum, a Prussian fir, date palms and ageing giant bunya bunya pines. The older garden beds are filled with roses and other hardy survivors.
For groups interested in experiencing the historic gardens, organised tours can be arranged. Groups can also plan to stay for a luncheon after the tour.
