Automotive & Transport

Automotive and transport training at South West TAFE includes the latest in technology advancements. We can train you in motor mechanics, motor sport, alternative fuels, air-conditioning, bicycle mechanics and warehousing operations.

Our teachers are training and industry experts who maintain a broad range of business networks. This ensures you will emerge with industry-standard skills and knowledge and be ready to enter the workplace.

Students undertake hands-on training in fully-equipped workshops. Our natural gas workshop is one of just a handful in Victoria. Those completing an apprenticeship can return to work and implement their new skills immediately. If you are looking for an apprenticeship or general employment, you'll be one step further towards reaching that goal.

At South West TAFE we also offer a series of short courses that are specifically tailored to match emerging trends such as the burgeoning natural gas vehicle industry.
