    Course DescriptionKeeping apace with workplace health and safety laws is of paramount importance. The Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 entitles Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) to undergo appropriate training in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

    This five-day course is VWA (WorkSafe) approved and is especially designed for HSRs and Deputy HSRs (DepHSRs) . It is not assessed against compentancy criteria but intended to assist HSRs understand and exercise their knowledge effectively, to make their workplace safer.

    Although HSRs and DepHSRs are the primary audience, managers, supervisors, health and safety committee members and anyone with an interest in health and safety may also benefit from attending.

    The course is approved to Federation Training and will be conducted by an approved WorkSafe trainer.
