    Course DescriptionKeeping apace with workplace health and safety laws is of paramount importance. The Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 entitles Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) to undergo appropriate training in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

    This course is especially designed for HSR’s and Deputy HSR’s (DepHSRs) . It is not assessed against compentancy criteria but intended to assist HSRs understand and exercise their knowledge effectively, to make their workplace safer.

    Although HSRs and DepHSRs are the primary audience, managers, supervisors, health and safety committee members and anyone with an interest in health and safety may also benefit from attending.

    Course DescriptionHolding a Dogging Certificate opens up employment opportunities in areas where cranes or lifting equipment are used such as construction sites, building sites, depots, off-shore, mining and maintenance industries. The aim of this course is to provide the participant with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to carry out Dogging duties.

    The course is subject to ongoing assessment of practical skills, general knowledge, slinging methods and crane usage. Following successful completion of the assessment, you will be able to apply for a Licence to Perform High Risk Work for Dogging (Class DG). Entry requirements apply.

    If you are unsure about your ability to handle your bike on the road, this training program will teach you more about yourself and your bike in two days than you’ll learn in a year by trial and error.

    A range of different motorcycle makes and models including sports, cruisers and naked upright bikes are available for you to experience during the learner permit training.
