Course Overview
Introduction

This course is designed to build on basic welding skills, enabling you to complete simple artistic welded works.  Ideal for the home user, or someone wanting to start from the beginning and build their skills up to take on our more demanding welding courses or artistic pursuits and aim towards attaining employment in the industry. Over five sessions you’ll develop your practical skills, along with relevant theory and safety training.

What will I Learn?

  • Mig cutting to produce artistic welds and sculptures
  • Build on skills of Arc Welding (Stick Electrode)

  • Students must have successfully completed the Introduction to Welding short course before enrolling in this course

How do I pay for the short course?

How to book

There are three simple steps when applying for a course with us. 

  1. Book – you can book and pay for your place online via the book now button.  A tax invoice/receipt is automatically emailed to you upon payment.
  2. Confirmation – you will receive an email confirming the date, time and location of the course. 
  3. Attend and complete the short course - 100% attendance of the short course is required. Upon successful completion and within 30 days of the short course, you will be sent a Certificate of Attendance.
