Free TAFE

This is Free TAFE course in 2021. Free TAFE is a Victorian Government program that covers tuition fees for priority courses for students who are eligible for government-subsidised training. There may still be some costs like course materials, uniform or excursions applicable to the course you select.

JobTrainer

This is a JobTrainer course. If you’re eligible for JobTrainer, you'll be able to access free or low-fee (concession rate) courses.

If you're enrolling in a course on our Free TAFE course list, you will not be required to pay tuition fees. Even if you hold a higher qualification or have previously used their Free TAFE entitlement, you can enrol in a Free TAFE course under JobTrainer.

If you are enrolling in a course that's not on our Free TAFE course list, you will pay no more than 20% of the tuition fee.

Skill sets are courses that are available free of any tuition fees for eligible applicants.

These courses are not part of the Free TAFE program and therefore will not impact your eligibility to study a Free TAFE course in the future.
