I’d gained an insight into plumbing when I completed work experience at school but it wasn’t until a mate told me Barclay Plumbing was looking for an apprentice that I considered pursuing it.
I’m now coming to the end of my apprenticeship and really enjoy the work I do.
There’s such a variety of jobs we do and the people I work with really make it. There’s nothing better than working with a good crew.
Trade school has also been really good. They cover off on so much and give us plenty of tips and advice.
I’d recommend a career in plumbing, it’s great and if you want to travel you can work anywhere in Australia or overseas.
