Introduction
The Long Range Radio Operator Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP) provides the knowledge and practical skills required to operate VHF and MF/HF marine radios safely and effectively.
Suitable for commercial and recreational vessel operators, this course covers marine radio procedures, emergency communications, Digital Selective Calling (DSC), search-and-rescue procedures, and relevant legislative requirements.
On successful completion, you will undertake the external LROCP examination, enabling you to apply for your certificate through the Australian Maritime College on behalf of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).
