A message from SWTAFE

/
South West TAFE has received notice that some Australian Education Union members may engage in protected industrial action commencing from 6am on 22 April 2024.

As a result, we anticipate some of the following activity may occur:

  • Visual or physical demonstrations by union members around campus;
  • You may not be able to contact some teachers.

As soon as we receive any further information about further impacts we will update this webpage. We will also inform our students and key stakeholder directly via regular communications channels. South West TAFE is committed to working with stakeholders to put in place any mitigating measures necessary in light of protected industrial action.

South West TAFE recognises the right of a team member to choose whether to participate in protected industrial action and respects the right of staff to express their voice.

Please continue to attend your classes as all classes are currently running without disruption.
