Currently there is no change to our operations. This means until advice of any change all TAFEs will continue to operate as normal and while we do so we want to ensure our contractors are assisting us in maintaining safe practices upon visiting any SWTAFE campus or workplace.

All campuses will close during the lockdown period and SWTAFE will transition to working from home and remote learning.

The Department of Education and Training (DET) has now provided clarification in regard to an early holiday closure for our students, so we wish to outline what the plans for SWTAFE are for the weeks ahead.

South West TAFE student holidays will be brought forward to now commence on the evening of Tuesday 24th March instead of Friday 27th March (or as soon as practical for any students undertaking exams).

Business as usual at South West TAFE
19 Mar 2020
South West TAFE, along with all TAFEs across Victoria, is continuing to operate as usual but is closely monitoring the COVID-19 crisis and liaising daily with Department of Education and Training (DET) who will provide directive to all TAFEs and schools in regard to our future operations.
